Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. His acting career started with TV parts, which included Opposite Sext in 2000. After appearing in several films for teens, such as Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he was renowned for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics Character the Human Torch. Evans appeared in further film adaptations of comic books and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). The film gained him more recognition due to his portrayal of Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War as well as the ensemble film The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He was able to become one of the top-paid actors in the world thanks to his involvement in the Marvel series.
